Packet pick-up is available on race day.

Although the majority of runners will get the shirt size they request at registration. Availability of shirt sizes are not guaranteed to those that pickup their shirt on race day. 

Event will be chip timed and scored with disposable chips attached to the back of the bib. Bib numbers should be secured to the front of your shirt. 

In order to comply with city permits and provided the best experience for all registered runners the roads will reopen at 10:30 We require that participants be properly prepared and trained to complete the half marathon (13.1 miles) within  3 hours and 30 mins (16 min/mile pace). Medals and official finish times will be given to all finishers who complete the race within 3 hours and 30 mins.

For safety reasons ,strollers, bicycles,roller skates, inline skates, scooters and dogswill be prohibited from the race. The use of headphones is strongly discouraged in both the 5K & Half Marathon

The race start time temperature of this event is normally around the low 60’s and around the 3:30 min time limit is 70’s

The above glass cup is 2019 Dora Double participants. 2020 awards have not been decided. 

The Dora Double is a combination of running both the 5k & Half Marathon. You can upgrade your registration if your registered for just one of the events.

5k Course MapThis event offers 2 walk/run distances, a single loop half marathon, and a 5k run/walk. The half marathon is a USATF Certified Course.(#FL12108EBM). There is a course cut off time of 3:30 mins. Roads will open and finish line will be closed.

1st cut off to transfer from half to 5k  is December 15th – $5.00

2nd cut off is December 18th – $10.00

Dora Double – Run both the 5k & the Half and get a special award

Race start is located at Elizabeth Evans Park. Please do not try to drive and park here. This parking area is called Edgerton Court, which is located South of the railroad tracks where the races starts, This will be closed off. 

*Requirements for EARNING the 5 year jacket

In order to receive a jacket you must complete the half marathon 5 years in a row.5 consecutive years means = year 1,2,3,4,5 or year 2,3,4,5,6. 

If you run 4 years in a row and miss one year and run the next that doesn’t not count

If you registered for your 5th, but are unable to do the race for ANY reason you will be ineligible.

Please understand that this is a very special accomplishment, and may NOT be purchased. IT CAN ONLY BE EARNED! To be eligible in 2020 you would have had to complete 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and AFTER completing 2020 you will be eligible. We award the jackets at the finish line right after the awards ceremony.
